Quick Check List of things to bring & Facts:
Soccer Day Camps are for Boys and Girls ages 5-13 years old.
All soccer campers need to bring a Soccer ball (size 3 for kids 5-7), (size 4 for kids 8-11), (size 5 for kids 12-13 years old).
Shin guards must be on campers at all times during field portions of the soccer camp.
Swimming trunks, towel, change of clothes. Swim time is not mandatory, campers choosing not to swim will do video/movie in the team room located under Pepin Stadium. University of Tampa Lifeguards test all campers prior to them being permitted to swim on the first day of soccer camp. If they do not feel it is safe for a camper to swim, the camper will not be permitted to participate in swimming. There are no exceptions if lifeguards do not clear campers.
Tennis shoes or flats – cannot have black bottoms as they leave black marks on the gym floor (indoor soccer). Indoor soccer may or may not be available due to facility availability.
Any medical issues/allergies need to be disclosed at the start of soccer camp with the camp director and athletic trainer that is on site for all soccer camp hours.
Food Allergies need to be disclosed with the soccer camp and we recommend any camper with serious food allergies such as nuts or dairy, look to bring their own lunch each day. Our athletic trainers working the camp will hold any medical products needed in case of emergency.
Head Staff to camper ratio is 1-12/15 campers. There is also an assistant staff coach that will assist each head staff coach.
All coaches and staff are Level 2 background checked and finger printed – this is University of Tampa and State Law in Florida.
Water/cups are provided at all sessions, campers can bring a water bottle if they want.
There is a camp store with snacks for purchase. Having some money to spend in the soccer camp store is recommended. We recommend loading this in the soccer camp store bank each morning so no camper has money hanging around. TESA Soccer camps are not responsible for any lost money at camps that is not in the camp store bank.
Parents can watch any session at the soccer camp. Time to come watch World Cup Finals on Friday’s is around 10:15am if you want to watch your child play in the championship rounds.
Early Drop off and late pick up options are available for a $50 per week fee. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Earliest drop off is 8AM, latest pickup without being charged is 4:30pm. Latest time available for Late Pick up is 5:30PM.
If your son/daughter will be picked up by another person or have to leave earlier than the soccer camp ends, the camp directors need to know at the start of soccer camp. Campers will check out each day with their coach prior to leaving.
Campers are grouped by age and ability. Campers will be evaluated first, then moved to appropriate level as long as it is not a safety issue. Campers moving up in age group must be able to hold their weight playing with older campers. We will not move campers down that present a safety issue for campers. Player movement at camp is determined by the staff coaches and camp directors after the evaluation period on day 1.
Campers must check-in and check-out daily at the drop off/pick up locations set forth by the soccer day camps. Campers are not permitted to leave the camp area for any reason unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Emails with specifics on the camps will go out to the email address parents registered with the camp between 1-2 weeks prior to the camp starting. If you have not received an email and are within 1-week of the soccer day camp starting, please contact us at email@example.com
If a camp is FULL, it will read “SOLD OUT/CLOSED” for that week on the soccer camp website. Summer Soccer Day Camps will be at capacity at 140 campers. If a camp is sold out/closed, we cannot add additional campers for liability reasons. Please look at another camp to attend.
Refunds – there is a $35.00 service charge for any refunds. To request a refund please email Adrian Bush at firstname.lastname@example.org

Lost & Found – if items are left behind, we will hold items in the Team Room located under Pepin Stadium. TESA summer soccer camps & University of Tampa are not responsible for any lost items.
Soccer Day Camp Evaluations are given to campers at the end of each week of camp. Honest feedback is our goal in providing evaluations for campers. Evaluations are not PASS/FAIL, they are used as areas to improve a players game.
Prizes are awarded at the end of each week. TESA Soccer camps feel prizes provide a positive experience for the campers and reward campers who have excelled individually or as a team. Not all campers get a prize nor do the prizes make players better than others. In the event of ties it is the discretion of the soccer camp coach on how the tie is broken. If tallies are being counted for golden boot (most goals in the World cup competition), players will need to stay on top of goal counts and make sure the goals tallied reflect the goals they feel they have scored for their team.
T-Shirts are provided for Soccer Day Camps and we will distribute camp T-Shirts on Friday mornings (last day of soccer camp). If your son or daughter cannot attend the final day, be sure to notify the camp staff that can make arrangements to get your camp shirts.
We do not offer Resident Summer Camps for Girls. If you have interest in women’s resident camps (overnight camps) – please contact UT women’s soccer coaches:
