We will not be able to add campers once a camp is closed due to liability reasons. No mail in registrations will be accepted for camps that close. There are no exceptions to camps that close, we encourage campers to register early as all 6 day camps last year reached maximum numbers.

Questions about Youth Soccer Day Camps please contact Maurice Loregnard at mo.tesacamps@gmail.com

The day soccer camps are designed primarily for the young developing soccer player. Most time blocks in the morning sessions will be geared towards technical skill development, with some tactical group training. All soccer campers will be grouped with campers of their similar skill level; this will maximize their learning experience and provide an environment that is challenging to the player. The staff to camper ratio is kept low to provide individualized instruction. Estimated staff to camper ratio will vary each week as guidelines are adjusted with state and local officials. The ratio will range from 1:9 to 1:12 max. There may also be an assistant soccer coach (current or former player, TESA camp staff) working with the lead staff soccer coach in each age group.

** Players can participate in an older age group if the TESA staff feel they are at the level to compete in an older age group. They must also be able to handle the weight difference in moving up in age group. Safety is our main priority in players playing up in age group and this is a TESA Staff decision not a parent decision. It is our goal to also group campers in the same group for the entire week to minimize contact with other campers/staff (COVID policy). This is in the best interest of each camper.

Lunch is not provided at the camps. Players are to bring their own water and can bring a snack. Participants will not be permitted to share water bottles or snacks.

**There will be a camp store each week that will sell snacks and drinks. TESA is not responsible for lost or stolen money. It is recommended each camper arrive on day 1 of camp with money in a zip lock bag that is to be put in the camp store bank. Parents need to write the name of camper and age on the zip lock bag.

*** Any allergies need to be reported to our staff and athletic trainer for the soccer day camp the first day of registration.

Soccer Day Camps may be held at various locations due to COVID-19.

These soccer camps are designed for the youth intermediate & advanced soccer player in a club or high school. Train like the University of Tampa Spartans for an intense and creative series of sessions. Each session incorporates soccer-specific fitness to include footwork, as well as technical & tactical training.

The College ID soccer camps are highly recommended for any male prospect who is considering University of Tampa as their choice to attend college. Each soccer camp will feature the University of Tampa Men’s Soccer Staff to work in the senior ages (High School age players) to properly identify each player attending. This provides the student-athlete one day with our staff for evaluation and also allows for realistic feedback on the opportunities to be a part of our top nationally ranked soccer program at the University of Tampa. Graduation class group’s age groups and each graduating class are limited to a certain number for each soccer camp. The average maximum number per graduating class is around 20-25 players.

In addition to our on-field instruction, our 1-day soccer ID camp will feature a college talk that outlines the recruiting process for student-athletes & we have a question/answer period with current UT Spartans. All staff are USSF licensed coaches who have completed Level 2 Background check & fingerprinting (Florida State Law). Campers are also provided the college process information in handouts at the conclusion of the ID camp. Whether you have the desire to play for the US National Team, become an NCAA All-American, or make your local Middle/High School or competitive team, our College ID & Residential soccer camps will help provide realistic steps to get you there!

Campers are expected to eat prior to the camp and we will have a snack for the campers during the college talk in the middle of the ID camp schedule. Campers must bring their own water bottle and there is to be no sharing of water bottles at the camp. All campers must wear a mask to and from the soccer field. Please maintain social distancing guidelines during the camp. Parents are asked not to watch the ID camp due to COVID safety guidelines.
