Tampa
Satellite Camps: We know summer schedules can be crazy and it’s hard to get your team together so we decided to come to you. We will bring our staff to you and give you all the training you would get at one of our on-campus summer camps without the travel. This can be at any High School or youth facility. For more info please CLICK HERE! ____________________________________________________
Spring Break Camp Most time is spent on technical skill development with some tactical group training. All campers will be grouped with campers of their similar skill level, this will maximize their learning experience and provide an environment that is challenging to the player. The staff to camper ratio is kept low to provide individualized instruction. Estimated staff to camper ratio is 1:10 campers and all activities are done at the University of Tampa facilities. Daily activities/schedule should include the morning session geared to all technical work (dribbling, passing, shooting, trapping, 1st touch, footwork moves, etc.) with the afternoon geared towards team play. World Cup competition will take place each day Monday through Thursday 3-4pm, parents are encourage to attend at these times to watch the games. World cup competition is with groups of players of similar age and ability. Younger players (ages 5-7) will also experience a video session each day & their schedule may vary to meet the needs of 5-7 year olds. It is our goal to have the experience be challenging but also maintain the fun of the game. Wednesday will be “Jersey Day” so make sure you are ready! Prizes will be awarded for each age group winner of jersey day and we will post pictures on our website. Lunch is provided at camp and all campers are encouraged to bring a snack. Equipment needed for camp is soccer shoes, running/tennis shoes (indoor soccer), soccer ball, sun block, towel, swimming trunks. Swimming will be pending availability of UT pool and weather conditions each day. All campers will receive an evaluation outlining their strengths and weaknesses in the 4 components of the game & a 2010 TESA Spring Break Camp T-shirt.
